On March, 2012 the delegation of Asia and Pacific collaboration Center visited Seoul, the Republic of Korea.

During the visit meetings and talks with the leading South Korean companies on the issues of participation in the construction and infrastructure projects in Saint-Petersburg and North-West Russia were held.

The participation of Korean companies in investment projects, investing in such potential projects as the construction of a sea port complex, high-speed line, housing complex, shopping-malls, entertainment and hotel complexes were discussed.

The visit to the site of construction of the Lotte Tower of 555 meters height (123 floors), was held. During the visit the talks with the chief engineers took place. As well as the parties visited the biggest children’s entertainment center Lotte World, built in 1985 and not inferior in scope to the famous Disney Land, took place.

In addition, the sides discussed issues of participation of Saint-Petersburg businessmen in exhibitions in the Republic of  Korea in the fields of high technology, energetics, electronics in 2012-2013, as well as an opportunity of holding of business tours from Saint-Petersburg to the cities of the Republic of Korea.
